Confirmation Preparation Program – High School

The Sacrament of Confirmation is normally administered by The Archdiocese of Hartford in the Sophomore year of high school after a two year preparation program. Youth attending public or Catholic schools will complete preparation for Confirmation in their Parish. Youth must have received Baptism and First Holy Eucharist, and be committed to further faith education and spiritual formation toward full initiation into the Church. Archbishop Coyne is changing the age of reception to 8th grade by 2027. The transition the next 2 years will prepare middle school youth for Confirmation. Candidates are required to attend Mass weekly. Adults wishing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation should contact the parish office 860-683-0366.
