Confirmation Preparation Program - High School

Youth attending public or Catholic schools will complete preparation for Confirmation in their Parish. Preparation for Confirmation is a two-year program, usually beginning in 9th grade and completed in 10th grade. St. Damien of Molokai Candidates receive Confirmation in the Spring of 10th grade.

Youth must have participated in faith formation or attended Catholic School in grade 8; have received Baptism and First Holy Eucharist; and be committed to further faith education and spiritual formation toward full initiation into the Church.

Youth in grades 10 or 11 who will not have reached the age of 18 before the reception of Confirmation may join the Confirmation preparation program.

Confirmation classes will meet at St. Joseph and St. Gabriel churches two to three times per month on Sunday mornings/afternoons or Tuesday evenings.
