Sacramental Preparation

Children in grade 2 are prepared to receive First Reconciliation & Penance and First Holy Eucharist. If your child did not participate in Faith Formation in 1st grade, please contact the Coordinator to discuss your child’s readiness to begin preparation for the sacraments.

Children in grades 3 & 4 who have not received these sacraments will join this class to be prepared for the sacraments.

Sacramental preparation classes are scheduled as needed for children in grades 5 – 8 who have been baptized but have not received First Reconciliation & Penance and First Holy Eucharist.

Preparation for sacraments may include retreats, community service and group activities.

All parents/guardians of children preparing for sacraments are expected to attend scheduled parent meetings, parent/child classes and Retreats. It is especially important for families whose children are preparing to receive these sacraments to attend weekly Mass together.
